Serving Families For More Than Fifty Years

July 14, 2020

Hello Church family,

As our community continues to be impacted by COVID 19, we are continuing with limited activities including Sunday morning services at 10:15am. All other weekly activities are suspended.  We understand if you are not comfortable attending due to health concerns. We miss you and are praying for you.  We will continue posting weekly messages and song on our church website at You can find weekly recordings in the video tab section.  Our fellowship has been impacted during this time. Pick up your church directory, find a name, text or call someone. This will be an encouragement for you and the one you are calling.  We have started back printing Sunday bulletins with prayer requests listed.  Please contact Betty at the church office to add your requests.  We will continue to pray for God’s blanket of protection and safety on our church family and community.

Love in Christ,

Bro. Bill

·         Please refrain from shaking hands and hugs

·         Please wear a mask. The church will have extra masks on hand if you need one

·         We still encourage families to sit together

·         If you are sick, please stay home. If you have been in contact or have any chance of being exposed to COVID 19 please stay home. If you test positive for COVID 19 please contact the church office immediately.

·         We are blessed by your faithfulness in giving. You can drop off your tithe and offering at the church office or at the worship center doors as you exit services.

Because of COVID-19 virus, our Senior Adult Sunday, originally scheduled for May 3, 2020 has been rescheduled for September 20, 2020.  God Bless you all and please stay in and be safe during this time.

Thank you,
Carolyn Johnston

For my house shall be called the house of prayer

 for "All Peoples."

Carriage Hill Baptist Church was established in 1966.  For over fifty years, many lives have been changed by Christ through the ministry of the church.  God is still at work in Southaven Mississippi.
Many people attend church to have their needs met.  They want people to serve them.  We believe that God has called us to serve Christ by serving other people.  This church exists "for the furtherance of the gospel" (Phil. 1:12).  Our community and our world need Jesus.  The church must be faithful to reach people and not just simply expect them to show up.  We are by no means a perfect people, but we serve a perfect God, who deserves our best.
This website is merely an introduction to our church and its ministries.  In order to experience the movement of the Spirit and the joy of our fellowship, we invite you to worship with us.  If you are new to our area, or a long time resident, we would love to have you be our guest for Sunday School and Worship.
When you visit our church, you will find;
  • Relevant Biblical teaching
  • Worship exalting Jesus Christ
  • Loving and inviting people
  • Encouragement to grow in your walk with the Lord
  • Opportunities to serve the Lord andreachpeople for Him
May God richly bless you as you seek Him today.
